An update on the post about domestic violence.
An 18-year-old La Grange woman called police earlier this week to report her father came after her with a hammer and “knocked her around a few times,” but when La Grange Police arrived at the scene, they found a different story.
So the spawn of Satan is willing to use the ‘authorities’ to blackmail their own parents into giving it money to go to the mall. How very touching. But as you will see, if you want to get some semblance of truth out of these stories, you have to go all the way to the bottom and read the last paragraph.
La Grange Police patrol sergeant Tom Cimbalista said the domestic battery was reported as unfounded in this case. When officers arrived, they determined the woman had not been assaulted.
“When we go to the scene of cases like this, probably at least half the time we find a different story than the dispatcher receives over the phone,” Cimbalista said. “Officers talk with all involved to determine what’s going on.”
As previously noted, 36 million people are arrested for ‘domestic violence’. That means 72 million were investigated. More importantly, police are deciding whom to punish, if anyone. That’s the judge’s job. You notice that the little cretin wasn’t charged with filing a false police report. Heck, she’s 18 years old and her name wasn’t even published.
Dr. Walter E. Williams, the great philosopher, often speaks about what happened to the buggy whip manufacturers when the horse-less carriage was mass produced. Yeah, they lost their jobs making buggy whips, but they gained jobs in the auto industry.
I submit that once this stupid police policy towards ‘domestic violence’ is finally tossed under the bus we just might have a resurgence of the buggy whip industry- and children who are a bit more respectful.
Of all the crack-pot ideas, including GlowBull Wormening, this has to be the most moronic. Jodie Foster is donating some hard earned Obamadollars to search for intelligent life somewhere out in the cosmos. Brilliant. Simply brilliant.
The Hollyweird types are exactly the people that go for this type of idiocy because their lives are so devoid of reality. Foster, it has been alleged, is a member of MENSA!
Foster attended a French-language prep school, the Lycée Français de Los Angeles, and graduated in 1980 as the valedictorian.[4] She frequently stayed and worked in France as a teenager, and she still speaks the language fluently without an accent.[5] She attended Yale University, and was a member of Calhoun College and Manuscript Society.[6] She graduated magna cum laude,[7] earning a bachelor’s degree in literature in 1985.
Some sources claim that Foster is a member of Mensa,[68][69]
Far be it for me to be critical, but a recently found tribe in the Amazon wasn’t contacted by researchers because they were afraid the tribe might not have built up immunities the rest of us have. So the researchers elected to… let’s all say it together… leave them alone. One of them was named Brittany, I think.
What makes Foster think contact with aliens would be a good thing? There are three possiblities if they are out there: 1) they’re more intelligent 2) same intelligence 3) lower intellingence. That is if intelligence is the only criteria sought for. (Lord knows we need some in California.) All three categories could have their benefits, I suppose. Higher intelligence could provide a cure for liberalism, equal intelligence could make Mexican labor obsolete, and, lastly, getting something other than a new puppy could be cool.
But, come on. Really. Ms. Foster thinks that of all the problems in the world, finding the elusive alien life form is going to do what? Unlock the secrets of the Chuprcabra, or Sasscratch? Just train your telescope on the White House.
There is one silver lining in this absurd thinking. These imbeciles will have less cash to send to the other lesser life forms: the democrats.
Just don’t start your search for intelligent life in Hollywood, Jodie.

Yes, kids, the campaign season draws near. And for a special October surprise, Sony Pictures is going to release a film October 12, 2012. Three and a half weeks before the election, the story of the raid on Osama will be in all the theaters extolling the decisiveness of Teh One™. How he risked a Jimmy Carter type failure and pissing off an allied country by getting the job Bush couldn’t do done. The story has it all- a hero, a villain, guns, helicopters, even a pr0n stash!
Now, we all know documentaries don’t sell. So this is going to have to contain some ‘fictionalized characters’. We can’t go around and actually, you know, use real names. The real people might sue for a piece of the action. No, no, no. Never mind that Sony has been given unprecedented (Oh God, there’s that word again.) access to classified material. They can work around that without releasing to much to our enemies. It’s not like Joe Biden hasn’t already spilled the beans, anyway.
“The eyebrow does go up when you see the release date,” says Douglas Urbanski, a Hollywood producer and conservative radio talk show host. Urbanski said he believes Bigelow’s movie will be straightforward and apolitical…”
Bwahahaha! That’s a real knee slapper! I mean the part about the “conservative” Hollywood producer.
So like everything else Obama, this movie is going to be fictionalized and embellished. It’s not like it hasn’t been done before. Obama was a guest lecturer at the University of Illinois, where Bill Ayers holds tenure, but the press calls him a “Constitutional Scholar”. He was a State Senator, but voted “present” more times than not. He was the editor of the Harvard Law Review, but didn’t write a single article. So, as you can see, this guy’s whole life has been fictionalized. What’s one more page in that novel?
There’s one more piece of fiction being passed off as reality. It seems the Long form Birth Certificate he displayed at the April 27th News conference is being dishonored by none other than Hawaii’s Director of Health. Even though he released it to the public, The Director of Health refuses to allow a visual inspection of the original, citing privacy. The only logical reason privacy would still be a concern, after he released it to the public, is it doesn’t match the one in the archives. Now that would be a Crisis.
But never mind all that. Can they get The Oprah to play Moochelle? Oprah has toned arms too.
The putative President will be holding an Iftar dinner for Ramadan. How quaint. If one were to search the term ” Obama+ Christmas” and then “Obama + Ramadan” which would you think would return more news stories? Here, let me give you a hint:
Today, several reports are stating the same four paragraph story that includes the line:
This evening, the president will host his third Iftar dinner at the White House celebrating Ramadan. The dinner continues a tradition started under President Clinton and continued by President George W. Bush.
If George W. Bush can feast for Ramadan why can’t Obama? See how that works?
After spending Tuesday in Dover, Del., paying tribute to the 30 U.S. service members killed in Afghanistan over the weekend, President Obama will spend today behind closed-doors at the White House.
Yep. On a rug facing Mecca.
I don’t have much use for “Fart Blossom”, nor O’ Reilly, but in this instance Rove is correct. Obama has never defeated a candidate- he has always eliminated the candidate. Against Jack Ryan for the Illinois Senate, the Tribune opened a sealed divorce record; he won by default. In the case of John McCain, the manufactured securities meltdown caused him to ‘suspend’ his campaign to get back to the Senate. It never got back on track. Obama won again by default. Obama eliminates the competition, he doesn’t defeat them with his ideas or vision.
Look what they did and are doing to Sarah Palin. Look at Newsweek’s photo and hit piece on Michele Bachmann. Rick Perry is already being labeled a Christian. Only Romney seems to escape the scorn. For now. After the nomination is when the sharp knives come out- when Mormonism is trashed and fictionalized truth becomes reality; polygamy is used to alienate republicans. “Gay marriage is good- polygamy is bad.”
Saul Alinsky would say: “The first step in community organization is community disorganization.” Therefore, the first step for organizing the Nation is disorganizing the Nation. In that, he’s doing a fine job.
For the republican nominee to have a chance, whomever it is, the TEA party better hold their rallies outside the doors of the news media so they can’t be ignored. Journalists need to be confronted and their activities disrupted. Advertisers need to be put on notice, as well. You just can’t advertize with Communists. Look how well that went for Air America.
The analogy to Buchanan is interesting, tho, in that the TEA party is being portrayed as a bunch of revolutionaries. 150 years after The War of the Northern Aggression, a Russian has been predicting the demise of the Union. He just might be on to something. Congressional Districts are re-mapped and that won’t change until 2022. It’s time to vote with your feet if you’re in a State like Illinois.
After years of representation by the likes of Danny K. Davis and Dick Durbin it’s time to make my vote count.
Contemplate the mangled bodies of your countrymen, and then say “what should be the reward of such sacrifices?” Bid us and our posterity bow the knee, supplicate the friendship and plough, and sow, and reap, to glut the avarice of the men who have let loose on us the dogs of war to riot in our blood and hunt us from the face of the earth? If ye love wealth better than liberty, the tranquility of servitude than the animated contest of freedom — go home from us in peace. We ask not your counsels or arms. Crouch down and lick the hands which feed you. May your chains sit lightly upon you, and may posterity forget that you were our countrymen!

Usually, suicide notes are reported to be rambling diatribes, or worse. This suicide note is disturbing in its accuracy. It begins rather ominously…
I am due in court the end of the month. The ex-wife lawyer wants me jailed for back child support. The amount ranges from $2,200. to $3,000. depending on who you ask. Not big money after being separated over ten years and unemployed for the last two. But I do owe it. If I show up for court without the money and the lawyer say jail, then the judge will have the bailiff take me into custody. There really are no surprises on how the system works once you know how it actually works. And it does not work anything like they taught you in high school history or civics class.
When I was a mere lad, I was taught owing money was not a crime. Heck, even judges at traffic court will give you time to pay. How can this happen in my world?
I could have made a phone call or two and borrowed the money. But I am done being bullied for being a man.
I’m sick of the TV commercials where the woman is a genius and the man an imbecile.
But first let me tell you how I ended up in this rabbit hole.
I’ll attempt brevity here.
When this reared its ugly head I could hardly believe it.
…banks have begun to bulldoze foreclosed homes to help drive up property values in others.
Think about that for a second. My first reaction is, hey they own it, they can do with it what they want. But that isn’t exactly the proper reaction, is it?
The lender will pay as much as $7,500 for demolition or $3,500 in areas eligible to receive funds through the federal Neighborhood Stabilization Program.
That amounts to about a year’s worth of real estate taxes. So, they are knocking down the houses to avoid multiple years of property taxes then donating the land to the Municipality for a write-off.
In doing so they are often eligible for tax breaks, with write-offs allowing them to “deduct as much as the homes’ fair-market value,” from income statements.
Just exactly what is the “Fair Market Value” of a house you are going to bulldoze? Some would say if it is set for demolition it doesn’t have value. That’s not how these people think. The value is in the tax credits, write-offs, and property tax saved.
While those that see this through rose-colored glasses will say it raises the value of other real estate, they fail to see the raise in property taxes for those left standing. Property taxes are assessed by first divining the number that each government body needs to function then dividing that number among the different properties, thus, everyone else’s taxes go up. (How much do they charge for a demolition permit?)
June’s surprisingly positive home sales data may be the first token of evidence that the tactic is having a benevolent macroeconomic impact.
Benevolent? Who are they kidding? Only the Federal government can ‘stabilize’ a neighborhood with a bulldozer.
Wells Fargo, JPMorgan Chase, Fannie Mae and Citigroup are all considering similar strategies.
In another piece, there was this:
Christopher Thornberg, founding partner at Beacon Economics agrees: “No one needs these homes, no one is going to buy them,” he said. “
Think of the implication of that for a moment. Obviously, people need homes. No one will buy them because the taxes on them are so high and the value so low, it doesn’t make economic sense. Why would someone pay $5,000 for a home when the taxes every year are higher than that? It would be like re-buying the home, through property taxes, every year. So, in the end, it’s not that these homes have no value, it’s that the taxes can’t be supported by a under-valued home. Put another way, as the economy contracts the municipalities can’t find a way to contract with it.
Maybe it’s time these municipalities look to their codes* and ordinances to find out why it is so difficult to upgrade these properties. At a recent hearing, I was asked to respond to a charge of “Working without a permit”. When I produced a motion that questioned the Constitutionality of the charge, the “hearing officer” flat out stated he had no authority to rule on Constitutional issues.
*More on that later.
